Elliot
Erwitt was born in France in 1928. At the age of 10, he and his family immigrated
to the United States. They were settled in New York city for two years and then
transferred to Los Angeles, California. He was passionate about taking
photographs so he went back to Europe doing what he liked the most while
travelling. This was the start of his professional career. In 1951, he was
recruited by the US military working as a photographer while in New Jersey, and
then in Germany and France.
The picture
above shows sequential images where children are being boxers and they are
about to start to fight and in the second photograph of the sequence, shows
that the little boy seems to have won the fight.
